The restaurant “Ushi no Hone” was founded in 1985 is relocated to its current main branch location. Riverside dining consists of course meals on weekends, but you can also enjoy ordering à la carte on weekdays (riverside dining fee 500 yen). The ushi no Hone course is 7000 yen and is served with a specialty items such as Wagyu beef stew. The tender melt-in-your-mouth Japanese wagyu is exquisite. Kyo-Machiya Tofu Course is ¥ 5,300 and consists of freshly prepared tofu, Kyoto vegetables, and other dishes containing carefully selected Kyoto ingredients. Feel free to give it a try, the restaurant caters to a variety of different types of occasions.
