Nontei
Izakaya / Creative / HomemadeObanzai is a traditional style Japanese cuisine native to Kyoto. This restaurant is known for its Obanzai made by the hostess. The 5,500 yen course includes Obanzai, fried conger, chicken cuisine and conger grilled on the ceramic board. The 3,800 yen course is also popular for it includes 6 dishes of obanzai and sashimi, or so-called the raw fish slices. The grilled conger is usually eaten with dried plum or wasabi soy sauce. There is always something extra more added to the “home town flavor” before serving to the guests. The popular Shabu course comes with Obanzai and sashimi and is served with ample amount. Guests can finish up their meal with Zousui, a mild and thin Japanese rice soup akin to a rice-based vegetable soup. If guests were to order single dishes on the riverside terrace seats, an extra 600 yen of seating fee will be charged.
